FREE SKILL

One Prompt Runs Your Whole Marketing Week

A free skill that turns one Claude prompt into a full marketing week. Market read, campaign strategy, LinkedIn post, Instagram caption, and the videos to go with them, all in one conversation. Connector setup takes about two minutes.

Marketing content has too many owners. One person reads the market, another writes the strategy, a third writes the posts, and someone else makes the video. Every handoff costs a day and loses a little of the point.

This skill collapses all of that into one conversation. You describe your business once. Claude reads your market, builds the campaign, writes your LinkedIn post and Instagram caption, then creates the video and image that go with each one. You stay in the same chat until it looks right.

It runs on one connector and one prompt. Both are below. The connector takes about two minutes and you set it up once.

The Problem This Kills

The usual version of this week is tool-hopping. A tab open for research, a doc for the strategy, another window for the copy, and then a video tool that knows nothing about any of it. You re-explain your business a fourth time and stitch the pieces together yourself.

Briefing an agency has the same flaw on a longer clock. You write the brief, wait, get back something that could belong to any company in your category, pay for a revision, and by the time the post goes up the reason you wanted it has moved on.

Both versions lose the same thing, which is context. The video tool never read the strategy, and whoever wrote the caption never saw the market read. Running all four steps inside one conversation fixes that, because step four still remembers step one.

What Is an MCP Connector?

An MCP connector is a standard way to hand an outside tool's abilities to an AI assistant. You paste one URL into Claude, and from then on Claude can call that tool's functions inside a normal chat. Topview publishes one for its video and image creation, so once it is connected, "make a fifteen second video for this post" becomes something Claude can do rather than describe.

MCP is an open standard, not a Claude feature. Any agent that speaks MCP can use the same connector. The setup below uses Claude because the connector screen there is the shortest path from URL to working tool.

Add The Topview Connector. Two Steps.

Step One. Get The URL From Topview.

Go to topview.ai and log in, or create a free account. Look for the Integrations, API, or MCP section. It sits under account settings or the Tools menu depending on which build you land on. Copy the MCP server URL, which Topview labels as the Claude MCP URL or the MCP endpoint.

If you cannot find it, search the Topview help docs for "MCP". Do not guess a URL. A wrong one fails quietly, and you end up debugging Claude when the problem was the address you invented.

Step Two. Paste It Into Claude.

On claude.ai or the desktop app, open Customize, then Connectors. Click the plus, then Add custom connector. Name it Topview, paste the URL, and save. It shows up in your list within a few seconds. On Team or Enterprise, an owner does this once from Organization settings, then Connectors, and it covers the workspace.

In Claude Code, open your config file and add the server by hand.

Copy this.

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "topview": {
      "url": "<TOPVIEW_MCP_URL>"
    }
  }
}

Restart Claude Code so it picks up the change.

Now confirm it. Start a new chat and type: "List the tools available from the Topview connector." Claude should come back describing video and image tools. If it cannot see them, the connector is not live, so remove the entry, paste the URL again, and open a fresh chat. Done. The connector persists across every conversation from here.

If you have never wired a connector into an agent before, the MCP walkthrough runs the same pattern on five other tools and is a gentler first install.

Fill In Three Fields

These are the only things you provide. The skill handles the rest.

FieldWhat it isExample
BUSINESS_CONTEXTOne paragraph: what you sell, who buys it, what makes you different"I run a bookkeeping service for e-commerce brands doing $500k to $5M a year. Most clients arrive by referral and switch to me because I understand margins, COGS and inventory in a way a generalist firm does not."
CONTENT_GOALWhat this week's content should do"Drive DMs from e-commerce founders who want their numbers clean before the next funding round."
TOPVIEW_CONNECTOR_NAMEThe name you gave the connectorTopview

Only the first field decides whether the output is any good. Write it like you are describing the business to a new hire who starts Monday.

Copy The Marketing Workflow Prompt

Paste this into a new chat once the connector is live. Replace the bracketed parts with yours before you send.

Copy this.

I want to run a full marketing content workflow for my business.

My business:
[YOUR BUSINESS CONTEXT, e.g. I run a bookkeeping service for e-commerce brands
doing $500k to $5M a year. Most clients arrive by referral and switch to me
because I understand margins, COGS and inventory in a way a generalist firm
does not.]

My content goal for this week:
[WHAT THIS CONTENT SHOULD DO, e.g. drive DMs from e-commerce founders who want
their numbers clean before the next funding round.]

My Topview connector name in Claude: [CONNECTOR NAME, e.g. Topview]

Do these in order:

1. Read my market. Name the main competitor content angles and the gap I can own.
2. Build a campaign strategy. One narrative for the week: the hook, the core
   message, the social proof angle, the call to action.
3. Write a LinkedIn post and an Instagram caption from that strategy.
4. Use the Topview MCP tools to create a supporting video for each post. Keep
   both under 30 seconds. Bold, direct style.
5. Present everything together: strategy summary, LinkedIn post, Instagram
   caption, video outputs.

After I review it, I will ask you to change things. Stay in this conversation
until I say it is done.

Say These Things While It Runs

Nothing here needs a restart. You correct it in place, in the same thread, using plain sentences.

When the market read comes back generic, the input was thin. Type: "Our three best clients are [TYPE], [TYPE] and [TYPE]. The result we deliver most often is [RESULT]. Redo the market read with that."

When the strategy sounds like a competitor wrote it: "Our tone is [TONE]. Here are two posts that sound like us: [PASTE TWO]. Match that for the rest of this session."

When it writes the copy and quietly skips the video, it has drifted off the connector. Say: "Now use the Topview MCP tools to generate a video for the LinkedIn post and one for the Instagram post." That re-anchors it.

When the video is close but wrong: "Shorter. Fifteen seconds, cinematic, hook line on screen: [YOUR HOOK]." Getting the clip generated is the easy half. If you want the footage itself to stop looking synthetic, the prompt layer for AI video covers that. That one is about making the video look real. This one is about getting the whole week made at all.

And when the angle is right but boring: "Change the angle. Focus on the time saved, not the money."

What You Get Back

One send produces five things:

  1. A market read that names the angles your competitors are already crowding, and the one they are leaving open.
  2. A campaign strategy for the week, written as a single narrative rather than a list of post ideas.
  3. A LinkedIn post that follows that strategy instead of ignoring it.
  4. An Instagram caption built from the same core message, so the two channels agree with each other.
  5. A video and image for each post, made by the connector inside the same chat.

All of it lands in one thread. Reopen it next week, change the goal line, and run it again.

Save It As A Skill

Pasting the prompt every week works, but it is the beginner version. The package version installs once and answers to a sentence.

In Claude Code, download the folder, unzip it, and move it into ~/.claude/skills/. Create the skills folder if it is not there yet. On the web or desktop app, keep the zip as it is and upload it under Settings, then Capabilities.

Either way, the trigger is the same. Open a chat and say: "Run the AI marketing workflow for my business." It walks you through the fields, one at a time, at your pace. Done. It is a standing capability now rather than a prompt you have to find again.

Honest, The Limits You Should Know

The free Topview tier watermarks the video. That is fine while you are testing the flow, but upgrade before the final pass on anything you actually publish.

Custom connectors work on Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans. A Free account can hold only one custom connector at a time, so if you already have one wired up, this replaces it.

Connectors also time out in long sessions. When Claude says mid-thread that it cannot find the Topview tool, remove the connector, re-add the URL, and start a fresh chat.

Third-party MCP servers deserve real caution, and this is the part most people skip. Anthropic's own guidance is to connect only to servers built by people you trust, because a malicious server can carry hidden instructions aimed at the model, and any developer can change what a tool does after you have already approved it. Read what the tool calls are doing rather than clicking through them.

Then the limit that matters most. Output quality tracks input specificity directly. A vague business paragraph produces a campaign that could belong to anyone, and no amount of prompting downstream rescues it. This does not replace someone who genuinely understands your market. It removes the hours of assembly work that used to sit around that person. If what you want is a standing team of agents rather than one weekly workflow, the AI department build is the larger version of this idea, so I will leave it there.

If You Only Do One Thing

Add the connector tonight and run the prompt once. Use a real business paragraph, not a placeholder. Give it your actual goal for this week, the specific one you would say out loud, then push back on the first output twice using the exact sentences above.

You will have next week's content in a single thread before you would have finished writing the brief. If it turns out not to be for you, you spent two minutes on a connector and a free account.
