FREE SKILL

Daily Prospect Harvester

ScrapGraph AI is an open-source scraper with nearly 29,000 GitHub stars. This free skill wraps it into a daily routine. You describe your ideal customer once. Every morning the skill runs, finds matching companies from public web directories, and drops fresh contacts into your spreadsheet. Your team opens the sheet to a queue of new prospects.

Your lead list has not grown this week. You know roughly who you want to reach. But finding them is manual, repetitive, and has nothing to do with closing deals.

The average sales rep spends 5 hours a week on prospecting research. That is a full half-day building lists that still go stale by the time outreach starts. The problem is not effort. It is that sourcing leads is a task that should run on a schedule, not on your calendar.

ScrapGraph AI crawls public web directories, extracts company contacts matching a target description, and structures everything into clean rows. Nearly 29,000 developers have starred it on GitHub. What it needs is a wrapper that runs it every morning and writes directly to your team's spreadsheet.

This skill is that wrapper.

Install It Once. Let It Run Every Morning.

This skill works with Claude Code (or any agent that can run Python). You download the folder, place it where your agent looks for skills, and give it one run command. After that, a single schedule entry keeps it going every day without any input from you.

Before you start, fill in 4 values:

Fill inWhat it isExample
TARGET_ICPOne sentence describing your ideal prospect"E-commerce brands in the UK with a visible owner or founder"
SPREADSHEET_URLYour Google Sheets URLhttps://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/YOUR_SHEET_ID
SHEET_TABThe tab name where rows get added"Prospects"
RUN_TIMEWhen to run each day, 24h format"06:00"

Install for Claude Code (terminal app):

  1. Open the skill folder in Drive and click Download. It arrives as a zip.
  2. Unzip it and move the daily-prospect-harvester folder into ~/.claude/skills/ on your computer. If the skills folder does not exist, create it.
  3. Open Claude Code anywhere and run:

Copy this.

Copy: Run the Daily Prospect Harvester

Run the daily prospect harvester.
My ICP is [YOUR_ICP_DESCRIPTION — e.g. "SaaS founders in the US with under 50 employees"].
Write to my sheet at [YOUR_GOOGLE_SHEETS_URL].

Replace the brackets with your values and send.

Install for Claude web or desktop app:

  1. Download the folder from Drive and keep the zip as-is.
  2. In Claude, open Settings, then Capabilities, and upload the zip as a skill.
  3. Start a new chat and run the same command above.

Done. The first run starts immediately. Subsequent runs fire on the schedule you set in RUN_TIME.

How It Works

You tell the skill who you are looking for. It searches public directories and company listing pages — the kind that show company name, website, and owner or founder name without requiring a login. It pulls public contact information for each match, deduplicates against whatever is already in your sheet, and appends only the new ones.

Each row added has six columns: Company Name, Website, Contact Name, Contact Email or LinkedIn, Source URL, and Date Added. The deduplication check runs by website domain. If a company already exists in the sheet under any column, it is skipped.

After every run the skill reports how many rows were appended and how many were skipped as duplicates. One number up, one number stable, and you know the run worked.

What You Get Back

01. Fresh prospects, every morning. By the time your team opens their laptop, there is already a queue of companies to contact. No manual research block on the calendar.

02. Your ICP, not a vendor's database. You define the target in plain language. "Logistics companies in Germany with a visible founder." "Architecture firms in New York under 20 employees." The skill searches for that, not for a preset category that may or may not match your buyer.

03. Structured rows, ready for outreach. Company name, website, contact name, contact email or LinkedIn URL, source URL, date added. Every row in the same format. Drop it into your cold email tool or CRM without reformatting.

04. Deduplication built in. The skill checks your existing sheet before writing. A company already in the list never appears twice.

05. Schedule set and forgotten. Use Claude Code's /schedule command or a cron job to run the skill every morning at your chosen time. After the first run, you do not need to think about it again.

Honest: The Limits You Should Know

Public contact data is not complete everywhere. In industries or regions where founders do not have a public web presence, the skill finds company names and websites but may not surface a direct contact name or email. For B2B niches with low public visibility, add LinkedIn as a source and look for the founder's profile directly.

The ICP description shapes the results. Too narrow and there are no results. "UK e-commerce brands under 10 employees with a founder whose name is listed on the site" is too narrow for most directories. "E-commerce brands in the UK" is the right level. If a run comes back thin, remove one filter and try again.

Local models work but vary in quality. The skill can run with a local model instead of paying for API calls. Extraction quality depends on the model's ability to parse directory listings. A 7B model will miss contacts a 70B model catches. Try with your current setup and benchmark before committing.

Google Sheets API setup takes 15 minutes. You need a service account credentials JSON from Google Cloud Console. The references/setup-and-troubleshooting.md file inside the skill folder walks through every step. If the write fails, that file covers the three most common causes.

If Something Goes Wrong

Start With One Search

Open Claude Code, install the skill folder, and run one search today.

Give it a specific ICP — one sentence, not a list of filters. Check the first results. If they are the right companies, you have a working prospecting engine. Schedule it, and your sheet grows on its own from here.

If you want to buy time on lead generation back from your calendar, this is where to start.
